Are you prepared?

With all of the classes I have taken so far I think that I will be prepared. I feel that the Education Department requires a lot of classes to receive entry into the program but there are some classes that should not be required and they should add other classes. Some classes I feel should be required are the communications class and infant and child development.

I agree with this completley! I took Intro to Public Speaking because I am not good at speaking in front of people at all, but I feel like that class helped me a lot! I also think that infant and child development class sounds interesting, and would relate very well to our career. I have a could friends in that class and they really like it.

I agree that public speaking class should be required for all education majors. It's a skill that can be refined over time and one that is crucial for success in the classroom.

What classes do you think shouldn't be required to be accepted into the SOE? I think all of the current class requirements make sense, but I do think that adding a Public Speaking class would be great.
